That\u2019s the story line of \u201cCrossover\u201d \u300a\u621a\u621a\u300b, the most ambitious (and expensive) work of director Enrique Amador.<\/p>\n
Half away trough the Spanish shooting, the main actress disappeared (without a trace), which together with the production expenses (by duplicate) and the obvious challenge of having to film in different countries and languages made it even more complicated. All of it entertained the director and his team, formed by close friends and great professionals (also friends). The director\u2019s baldness hasn\u2019t get worse, maybe because that perfect and shiny circumference which is his head didn\u2019t have many hairs to drop to start by, but they do have turn white his entire beard. As life is full of ups and downs, the effort has relieve his body of 8 kilograms, an scary news in most people, but seeing his weight\u2019s starting point it has been received with joy and cheers by the director, friends and neighbors down his flat.<\/p>\n
\u201cI think the effort has been worth it. We have done something special with Crossover. To tell a story in different countries and through different characters. Not as a cultural comparative analysis, but as a unique way of storytelling. What the characters feel and the things going on in their lives, are the same? Are feelings universal? Why limit oneself to describe them with only one person and location?\u201d<\/p>\n

En medio del rodaje madrile\u00f1o se esfum\u00f3 sin dejar rastro una de las actrices protagonistas, lo que se uni\u00f3 a los gastos duplicados y a las complicaciones derivadas de rodar en lugares e idiomas diferentes. Hubo que filmar de nuevo la parte espa\u00f1ola, por lo que el rodaje dur\u00f3 m\u00e1s de un a\u00f1o. Todo ello divirti\u00f3 mucho al director y a todo su equipo formado por amigos \u00edntimos y grandes profesionales (tambi\u00e9n amigos). La alopecia del director no se ha agravado, dado que en esa perfecta y brillante circunferencia que es su cabezota no quedaban muchos pelos que pudieran caerse, pero s\u00ed que se ha vuelto casi blanca la barba que cubr\u00eda su cara. Como no hay una de cal sin otra de arena, el esfuerzo realizado le ha liberado de ocho kilos lo que, dado su peso inicial, ha sido acogido con j\u00fabilo por el propio director, personas de su entorno y vecinos de abajo.<\/p>\n
\u201cCreo que el esfuerzo ha merecido la pena. Hemos conseguido hacer algo especial con Crossover. Contar una historia en diferentes pa\u00edses y con diferentes personajes. No como un an\u00e1lisis comparativo cultural, sino como una forma \u00fanica de narraci\u00f3n. Lo que sucede en la vida de los personajes y lo que \u00e9stos experimentan \u00bfes lo mismo? \u00bfLos sentimientos son universales? \u00bfPor qu\u00e9 limitarse a describirlos con una sola persona y lugar?\u201d.<\/p>\n
